Round-up of news and research links (9/4/15)

Postby Dan » Fri Sep 04, 2015 5:17 pm

These will be the basis of of the next 2 Word Press blog entries. I am posting these here first because I want to post a link over the facebook.

Sheepdog 1.17: Round-up of random research links (part 1)

Every so often, I sweep through my facebook wall and delete a bunch of “obsolete posts.” That doesn’t mean that the stories are now obsolete, but as a post, they’ve become obsolete. Too much clutter is simply too overwhelming for many, so I’ll make a selective edit of which to keep and which to remove. The stories and research links remain highly relevant, so I move them from one place to another. In this post you will see a medley of those links, nutshells, and top stories. These I will attempt to logically connect the dots in some order and larger story. Sometimes I export them over to the sheepdog forum as well. I actually post quite a lot of content over the facebook, and I’m surprised more people haven’t told me off or deleted me.

This is a famous image, hosted in this case by Zero Hedge, the apocalyptic economic forecasting news blog and aggregator. ... _crony.jpg ... ucracy.png

Previously, I wrote about what it means when we refer to “the Nations.” On the graphic shown by Charles Hugh Smith, we find the nations somewhere between the fifth and sixth stages right now. 6 is when the red ink starts eating the productive citizens. The largest industries are either public sector, or they are private sector that couldn’t exist without substantial free money from the fed. Some of the biggest ones are these: Wall Street (financial industrial complex), military, medical industrial and big pharma, energy industrial complex (including oil/gas and certain “green” businesses), big food, drug war, bought courts and prison industrial complex (you can search for “Kids for Cash” scandal), abortion industry and organ trafficking; political-media industry, and all these fed and state agencies. They stay in business because its mandated by government dictat, and most of their revenue is given to them by the fed which comes directly from soaking the taxpayer. Leftists say, let's give em a free pass.

If they were forced to sink or swim like every other authentically free-market private business, then they would sink. This is part of why I like Donald Trump. He’s private sector, and that’s where he made his enterprise. The public sector industries, at this point, are massive failures that have also been sheltered from free-market outcomes. They stay in business because the government says they stay in business. Have you EVER heard of a government project that is both under-budget and ahead of schedule? Never! But it happens all the time in the private sector, and among Trump projects.

Here is a case of incompetent agencies (I mentioned some of these just above) dissembling & projecting their own failures onto conservative media. ... or-attack/

Some good news; as far as I can tell, Iceland is the only country who got it right. To restore the peoples' faith in the public sector (namely in government), the country has got to clean up the sludge and get it out of government and all their pet industries. Just throw the bums out on the street, where they would already be if not for sheltering themselves from free-market outcomes. That means they have to clean up the banks.

Here is another case of government picking winners. Common Core is a total catastrophe, with the goal of dumbing down our children and turning them into “useful idiots” and “happy corporatists.” Schools (the system-at-large) do not even teach kids how to memorize facts. They teach them to memorize, and they also don’t teach them how to learn. I try and teach people the skills necessary for a lifetime of independent study, which should be fun. I guess that’s why I’m effectively not allowed to work in public schools anymore, given my long paper trail on this subject. ... -admit-wid

Here is a song by Christian hip hop artist NF that I really like. A brief inspirational for fellow believers!

Robert Plutchik devised a useful Roda Emosi Plutchik emotions wheel in 1980.

Hope is defined as anticipation plus trust. Awe is defined as fear plus surprise. Love is defined as joy plus trust. Optimism is defined as anticipation plus joy.

I love the Emerson station and independent radio. You can listen from your computer, and they sometimes play Christian music. 88.9 Emerson College independent music station covers Greater Boston and live stream. Nice range of pleasing genres. Often a capella Sundays, fantastic.

Psalm 59:5 You, LORD God of hosts, are God of Israel. Rouse yourself to punish all the nations; spare none of those who treacherously plot evil. Selah

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is an excellent writer and speaker, and a former Assistant Treasury Secretary for Reagan admin. That is, he has tons of experience working in government and economics, and now he is a vocal warrior for freedom. This is a very good title, as it is simply stated and establishes a relationship: war threat rises, as the US economy declines. ... es/5448757

To be continued and concluded in part 2 of 2.

Sheepdog 1.18: Round-up of random research links (part 2)

This is a funny cartoon on a horrible story. U.S. and Saudi policy have destroyed Yemen. The leftist counter-attack to this is to blame Bush for wars that he didn’t start! ... nflict.jpg

I have plenty of criticisms for the neoliberal Slate magazine, but these I reserve on an author-by-author basis. I highlight excellent pieces of journalism where I find them, and I like to cite from mainstream and neoliberal camps where possible. These stories affirm the body of work that I deal with from a Christian conservative perspective. This one is sad and deals with debt slavery and how it is crushing Western economies, ruining lives, and breaking hearts. ... icant.html

"Harriet Cleveland's troubles began with traffic tickets. When she couldn't pay her fines, she was sentenced to two years' probation with Judicial Correction Services, which added its own fees. Her debts soon mounted." ... f-jail-inc

On this topic of economic issues and the persecution of common folks by bankrupt governments who are desperate for cash, consider the criminality and anti-constitutional spirit of civil asset forfeiture. This is what we call a leftist lawyer-boy doublespeak for “robbing you blind, for no legal reason at all.”

If civil asset forfeiture is 'lawful,' then we have to ask ourselves, do we really own anything at all? Political corruption and economic violence are easy to prove. This illustrates why, after studying a degree in government, I decided against a career in government.

The government position in Civil Asset Forfeiture is they do not have to prove you did anything. In fact, even if you are charged with a crime and are acquitted by a jury, they still confiscate your property for legally people are never found “innocent”, they are found “not guilty.” This gives government the moral justification to just take your stuff." Martin Armstrong

"Police abuse of civil asset forfeiture laws has shaken our nation’s conscience. Civil forfeiture allows police to seize — and then keep or sell — any property they allege is involved in a crime. Owners need not ever be arrested or convicted of a crime for their cash, cars, or even real estate to be taken away permanently by the government." ACLU

"A 2014 report in The Washington Post spoke to the particular issue of cash seizures, a popular form of civil forfeiture due to the fact that the mere presence of cash is often enough for an officer to decide he or she has "probable cause" to make a seizure. The Post found that one large federal program had led authorities to make nearly 62,000 cash seizures since 2001, all without search warrants or indictments. The total value of these seizures was more than $2.5 billion." Nick Wing with Reason magazine

This is a very interesting animated graphic, also reported by Zero Hedge. “From Year 1 to today, Angus Madison, a British economist who specialized in measurement and analysis of economic growth and development, combined modern research techniques with his own extensive knowledge of economic history to estimate the historical spread of The Wealth of Nations...” ... 2000-years

Speaking of debt, here’s what you wont hear about violence from the big box media. Anthony Cartalucci wrote that “The United States suffers from more poverty, more disparity in income, more blight and stagnation across its economy and education system. This is why the United States is more violent than other industrialized nations, not because of the availability of weapons.” Correct, which means that forced civilian disarmament (gun control) isn’t the answer to the horrible economic problems that government caused. That’s only going to make honest, lawful citizens/civilians more scared and more vulnerable to death and robbery. Meanwhile, it will not deter criminals and terrorists. This is why more and more lawful citizens are interested in lawful gun ownership because of all the crazies and violence. ... da/5456842

This debt issues applies to people (micro-econ or small-scale), but also to the nations (macro-econ and large-scale). Armstrong pointed out that Greece has shamefully surrendered its sovereignty over to Germany and the EU The Greek government will be looting its citizens to pay for-profit central bankers (compounding debt that can never be paid off, mathematically it can only continue to grow. This is an exponent.)

What it all comes down to is authoritarianism. The United States is best defined as an authoritarian capitalist form of government. By “capitalist,” I refer to crony capitalism. Our public schools are embedded with the security industry and military. That’s why their mission purpose is to teach our children to be authoritarian followers. Either you’re going to sink or swim in such a system. I was able to swim, but at the cost of being emotionally crippled for many years. I thank Jesus for healing me. This is an excellent blog piece by some pseudonymous guy, and it exposes the issue nicely. ... -problems/

Jokingly, I stated on June 16 that "My prediction (2016 contest): Bush/Rubio vs. Clinton/Castro." This wasn't a serious prediction, but its probably a very serious prediction of what Wall Street and DC would greatly enjoy for a fake election. Can you imagine anything worse than Bush Clinton 2016?

In fact, my actual prediction for the 2016 contest is this. It will be canceled or suspended by Barack Obama using tyrannical powers via executive orders, many of which are already written and waiting in the wings. Search EO 13603 and some of my other writings if you want to learn more.

Are you starting to see the connections among some of these seemingly disparate articles? I led this part 2 with the Yemen war that Obama and Saudi caused. It’s all about the money, and they will plunder and dismantle entire nations just as eagerly as they do it to people. Nearly everything that government does is sin.

The penultimate (second-to-last) piece we’ll consider for this round-up is how the Great Middle East War spreads out from a few countries (such as Iraq and Yemen) like wildfire, and that is the point. ISIS exists to destroy the enemies of Wall Street, and this is so proven and obvious to any of us who study this issue, just look for it and you’ll find the money trail. Near the start of this series, I cited research links on ISIS being a protected asset of Western spook agencies ... os/5469351

Ok, lastly, and please pray for Robert DeKelaita, and for Arab Christians and Assyrian Christians, because this story and act of leftist double-standard by Obama admin is a huge disgrace. Obama is simply awful, and its obvious that he hates Christians and enjoys red taping them with policies that lead to genocide and mass murder. He is also an apologist for radical Islamofascism, which by the way, is primarily defined by a civil war among Sunni vs. Shia Muslims that has been raging for around 1300 years.

Robert DeKelaita is a lawyer who helped Christians in Iraq and Syria escape ISIS genocide caused by Obama wars. This heroism triggered the outrage of Obama who sent lawyers after him, the same "Justice" department who gave AK-47s to cartels in the so-called "botched" fast and furious.

"He was indicted on charges of falsifying the asylum applications of 12 clients over a 10-year period, allegedly concocting “phony claims” of religious persecution. The government has delayed his trial twice while it seeks to firm up witnesses who will testify against him” wrote Leo Hohmann.

In other words, a leftist double standard and false felony charges for certain migrant classes, and free-for-all for actual felons and mass immigration (as long as they aren't Christian fleeing ISIS nations. If so, force them to stay, or prosecute the lawyers who help them leave). All these Obama wars and Obama genocides are really getting out of hand. ... hristians/

I also support that we should be helping Shia Muslims to escape acts of ISIS genocide. When IS captures a village or town, they kill Shia and they release Sunni. Better yet, let's stop destroying countries for private profit fueled by public losses (as in red ink). This round-up paper is now concluded. To the non-Christians who may be part of my readership, do you understand why I do all of this? My journalism and writings are aggressive, and reasonably so. Would I have the courage to do these things without the Holy Spirit of God indwelling in me? NO. We are talking about evil people who do abominable evil, and they don’t care. All they care about is power and you shutting up and doing nothing as they do it.

Proverbs 6:12-19
12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
